Located at 100 Great Patrick Street, in Belfast’s iconic Cathedral Quarter, this remodelled warehouse is home to leading children’s charities Include Youth and VOYPIC- Voice of Young People in Care and their social enterprise VIable Corporate Services.
Together, the charities have over 70 years experience supporting vulnerable and marginalised children and young people across Northern Ireland.
VOYPIC is the charity for children and young people with experience of living in care in Northern Ireland. Our job is to promote the rights and voice of children in care and care leavers by providing advocacy and mentoring services.
Include Youth is a rights-based charity working with children and young people in or leaving care and those from disadvantaged communities or those whose rights are not being met, to improve employability, personal and social development
VIable Corporate Services was established in 2015 to delivery back office services including Bookkeeping, Payroll, Financial Management Reporting as well as HR, Strategy and Governance training to the shareholders VOYPIC and Include as well as to the wider third sector.
The building will also be home to VIable, VOYPIC and Include Youth’s professional back office social enterprise.
The charities are delighted to be part of the regeneration of this area of Belfast city, and ensuring children and young people are at the heart of that regeneration. The area around the building is steeped in history, but we believe its best days are ahead of it!
The building opened its doors in October 2022 following a £2million redevelopment, with funding from three government departments- Communities, Health and Economy- with additional financial support from Atlantic Philanthropies, The Tudor Trust, Garfield Weston Foundation, Ulster Garden Villages, White Mountain Programme, The Clothworkers’ Foundation, and Community Finance Ireland.
A number of spaces will be available for hire, including meeting rooms, multimedia and IT suites, classrooms and exhibition spaces.
